Introduction

People worldwide follow various cultures and practices. A society's culture may be summed up as its way of life; it establishes the norms for behaviour among its members. Therefore, I would like to discuss a culture I came across that I like. 

What culture is it?

I like the Maasai tribe's culture, which uses red ochre and red ochre powder mixed with animal fat to protect itself from the sun's harsh rays. 

How do you know about it?

In the 7th standard, I had a chapter related to various cultures that people worldwide follow. This is where I first read about this culture, which attracted me because I had never heard of it before. 

What differences are there between that culture and your own?

The biggest difference between this culture and mine is its different uses and longevity. In earlier times, India used zinc to protect itself from sun rays but has switched to sunscreen now, whereas the Maasai tribe still follows the same culture to this day. 

Explain why you like that foreign culture.

I like this foreign culture because it first reminds you to be connected to your roots and understand their importance. Second, even after all this time, the remedies are as effective as they were in earlier times.

Conclusion

To conclude, I liked the culture of the Maasai tribe from Kenya. They kept their ancestral practices alive and did not let modernisation deter them.

Every nation has a different culture; some examples of these distinctions include how people dress and speak. Likewise, I would like to discuss a foreign cultural practice I like. 

What culture is it?

The culture I am talking about is from the United States, where children become independent after they become adults and are not entirely dependent on their parents. 

How do you know about it?

I came to know about this culture through Hollywood movies. I believe cinema is an extended version of reality that is personified and showcased in a structured manner. 

What differences are there between that culture and your own?

The major difference between the USA and India regarding making their children independent is entirely different and opposite. In India, children stay with their parents and start working in their later stages, whereas in the USA, children are aware they have to become financially independent right after they turn 18. 

Explain why you like that foreign culture.

I like this foreign culture because it makes individuals more independent and responsible towards themselves and their goals. Once a kid becomes an adult, they should know not to depend on their parents for everything, and this culture does precisely that. This culture also gives people a head start in their careers. 

Conclusion 

In conclusion, I believe this is an excellent culture that should be adhered to in moderation worldwide.

Introduction

Culture is more than dialects, religious practices, customs, artwork, etc. Another aspect of culture is cuisine, which refers to the sort of food people have, how it's prepared, and much more. Thus, I will now discuss the culture of Japan, a foreign nation.

What culture is it?

The Japanese culture has a beautiful culture of greeting a person by bowing. 

How do you know about it?

I got to know about this culture when one of my friends returned from Japan after spending an entire semester there as an exchange program student. 

What differences are there between that culture and your own?

There isn't much difference between this and the Indian form of greeting. In Japan, a person bows down to greet the person from the waist, and in India, people join their hands and bow a little to show courtesy. 

Explain why you like that foreign culture.

One prominent reason this culture attracted me was its similarity to my own culture. In addition, I like it because it shows a way of being affable and kind, unharmed, meeting the person, and making them feel special.

To sum up, this Japanese culture is not very unheard of; rather, it has become a staple in many countries, all thanks to the online platforms and spread of the culture.

Answer- Indeed, reading about other cultures worldwide is one method to do so. Question- How did you feel when other countries' cultures followed in our country?

Answer- I feel there needs to be a balance between maintaining our own culture and inculcating cultures followed in other countries. This is because, with changing times and situations, it is essential to adapt to newer things while maintaining the essence of your own culture. Elders of my country would be rigid when speaking about their culture and following it, but the newer generation is more liberal about it and is accustomed and open to changes. 

Question- What is the biggest problem when working in a foreign country?

Answer- Language barriers and dietary restrictions are, I believe, the main obstacles to working abroad. People will be frightened to work in other countries if those two are absent since they are essential to the job.

Question- What do you think about which countries' cultures were excellent and attractive?

Answer- We should understand the customs of other nations, but India has the most beautiful culture. However, they follow many formalities in everything they do, including prayer, eating, dressing, and other aspects of daily life. Every state has its customs for clothing, eating, and praying.
