Introduction

One half still considers a successful person to be wealthy, whereas the other half relates success with mental peace or well-being and small wins. Today, I will talk about a person who has inspired me immensely and whom I have worked under.

Who is this person?

I am going to talk about Adv. Kirti Kasliwal, who is a civil lawyer who handles all civil and arbitration matters in the Rajasthan High Court and the district court. She comes from a family of lawyers but has created her own name in a male-dominated field.

When did you study/work with this person?

I had the privilege of interning under her guidance during my second and third semesters of law school.

What did you do together?

Kirti Ma’am used to assign me files and explain how the proceedings work and how things happen in the real world. One of the major tasks given to me was to read all the files that were to be listed the next day in the court, make their briefs and lastly, do the research work for all the associates according to priority.

How did you feel about studying or working with this person?

I felt extremely privileged to work under her and learn from her directly. Firstly, it was a difficult task to secure an internship under her and getting that helped me learn the ropes of the real world. I witnessed her work ethic up close, how well-aware she was of things and how nicely she managed every subordinate while guiding them.

Conclusion

To conclude, I would say that in my initial college years, working with an advocate such as her helped me understand a lot about the law fraternity. Her guidance made me more focused on my studies.

Success is a subjective topic, as it varies depending on who perceives it in what manner.  Different people have different perspectives on success. Today, I am going to talk about a person who is successful and on the road to even greater success.

Who is this person?

I am going to talk about Adv. Salim Khurshid, who is one of India's highest-paid senior advocates. He appears before the Supreme Court and has been a politician as well, but he is renowned for his work as an advocate.

When did you study/work with this person?

I had the absolute privilege of interning under him during my seventh semester of law school. It is essential for every law student to intern during their ten semesters. I tried my luck and applied for the internship he provided and secured a seat in the winter internship.

What did you do together?

Mostly, all the interns were provided with research work by the associates working for Salim sir, who were always ready to help us at every turn. Apart from the research work, the interns were also required to attend court hearings and understand how proceedings are done in real life.

How did you feel about studying or working with this person?

In spite of being at the designation Salim sir is at, he made time to address all the interns every now and then, and those were the most insightful instances of the intern. He discussed his journey and made us understand the basics of law. He made law look so easy because of his years of practice that all the interns became even more enthusiastic about the profession. He told us about his failures, how he came out of those, and much more.

Conclusion

To conclude, working under the guidance of Adv. Salim Khurshid was an eye-opener for me regarding the profession and work ethic. Seeing how he functioned and learning his understanding of the profession and world was a delight.

As a result, while success may help some people be happy, it may not always translate into general contentment and well-being.

Answer- In the Indian setting, success is frequently determined by a range of characteristics, including one's professional accomplishments, social standing and financial stability. Some people define success as having a well-paying job, a lavish home and pricey vehicles that demonstrate their material wealth and prosperity.

Question- What qualities should a good leader have?

Answer- In my opinion, a good leader should have clear and strong communication skills. Along with good communication, he/she should have good work ethics, which can inspire the juniors and subordinates. A good leader should also have great problem-solving skills and management skills for managing his/her team.
