In our everyday lives, we make several decisions; some are trivial, whereas others are important and might affect us in the long run. Similarly, today, I will discuss an important decision I made a few months back.
The decision I am talking about is to join a gym and be regular at it.
I made this decision back in March when someone made me realise how much I enjoy outdoor activities and love working out. These are also important for us nowadays because of our stagnant lifestyles.
It has been three months, and I think I made the right decision because I feel fit and confident. Because of the gym, I have started following a disciplined schedule. Going to the gym has also made me follow a healthy lifestyle.
I feel great about this decision because I feel accountable for my health and follow a proper routine, even on my off days when I don’t feel like moving. Apart from being accountable for my health, I enjoy going to the gym as I love physical exercises, and it is a healthy way of letting out excess energy from the body.
To conclude, the decision to go to the gym has been good. It has made certain significant changes in my life, which I am happy about.

Important decisions can be demarcated, from eating out somewhere to choosing a career path for yourself or switching from one job to another. For a teenager, the most important decision they have to make for themselves is what career path they have to go on and, before that, what subjects to choose in their 11th standard. I will also be sharing something today along similar lines.
The important decision I made as a teenager was to pursue law after my 12th grade and not from my hometown city.
I made that decision when I was in 11th standard, as I needed time to prepare for the entrance exam while managing my 12th standard. I had to score well in both, as they were equally valuable.
The result was that I prepared for my entrance exam and got through to a decent college in another city. Along with studying law, getting out of my house was a good decision as it taught me various life lessons which will help me throughout my life.
I feel that it was a good decision. This is because I got to learn and study law and shape my career path, even though it is a tough path to follow; apart from that, I got to live alone and understand the responsibilities along with becoming independent. After learning and studying law, my interest piqued even more, and I understood its importance as well.
To conclude, although I was sceptical about my decision to study law and had severe doubts about it during my studies, it turned out in my favour in the end.

People make important decisions about their careers, everyday habits, beliefs, and more. Similarly, I made an important decision a year ago that was best for my career, which I will discuss today.
A year back in December, I came across a form for a Supreme Court law clerkship exam that would enable me to work directly under the Supreme Court judges and learn from them, and I decided to appear for it.
I came across the exam form in December, and I immediately filled that form out.
The result was that I started preparing for the exam, cleared all the rounds, and got through the job.
I felt on top of the world when I cleared the exam because it gave me a good start to my law career even after a gap. The best part was that the legal fraternity works on a network, and I was able to network with the best people in the business. Along with networking, this job enabled me and made me capable of working for the top lawyers in the country and various LLM opportunities as well.
To conclude, some impromptu decisions, like this one, could also be great for us. It proved to be great for my career and personal development as well.

Question- Why do some people find it hard to make decisions?
Answer- Well, I think that prior experiences heavily influence most decisions, and it leads to confusion, making it hard for people to take them. Some people's experiences don't push them sufficiently, either because of mental health issues stemming from substance abuse and misuse or physical limitations that prevent them from accepting their fate and choosing the best course of action, making overall decision-making difficult.
Question- How important is it to get advice from other people when making decisions?
Answer—Seeking guidance from mentors and others with expertise is crucial when making important decisions. They provide a strong support system, prepare you for potential challenges and, most importantly, direct you toward making the right choice.
Question- Why is it sometimes difficult to accept advice?
Answer- Since everyone thinks and understands the world differently and because making wise judgments isn't always easy, it might be challenging to take advice. The majority of individuals seek the simplest solution, which is often incorrect peer advice.
Question- What are some of the most important decisions young people have to make?
Answer- Even though they may not see it or fully understand it now, I believe that young people must make the decision to completely focus on their studie, choose the right friends, and maintain a clean record with the law by abstaining from drugs and substance abuse. These decisions will eventually have a significant impact on their future lives.
Question- Is it better to decide whether to think about what you want or what other people want?
Answer- Since it is your life, it is best to make judgments upon considering your desires. You only have one life to live, and it should be spent pursuing your fulfilment as a successful person rather than trying to win over the approval of those who won't be there for you if your decisions backfire.
