Introduction

Moving to a new place has become a common practice among youngsters. There are various reasons why people move, like getting admission to a good university, great job opportunities, people in the army getting transferred to another place, and much more. Similarly, today, I will talk about someone who has recently moved to a new place.

Who he/she is?

My best friend has moved to a new place. She recently moved to Canada to pursue her post-graduation and is excelling in the field she was interested in.

What is the new place like?

Canada is a good country for Indian students to pursue their masters degree. However, as my friend tells me, it is a very cold country. Although she has found friends and a good college campus, the weather is extreme. Also, in comparison to India, Canada is an expensive country.

Why did he/she move to a new place?

She moved to a new place because she had a great opportunity regarding her higher education and the subjects she wanted to pursue. Along with this opportunity, she saw that a post-graduation degree from Canada would be very beneficial for her future.

Explain whether his or her move has a positive impact on you.

Her move has made a positive impact on me from a career perspective. She has inspired me to continue working towards my dreams. Because of her, I am motivated to pursue my postgraduate degree, for which I am appearing for this IELTS exam. Although I was happy that she was pursuing her dreams, I was saddened that I would not be able to meet her that frequently.

Conclusion

To conclude, looking at my best friend, I have understood that even though moving to a new country can be challenging, it will all be worth it in the end.
