The acronym for the IELTS Test Report Form is TRF. It is the official record given by the IELTS testing facility that lists your results for the Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking parts of the exam.
The IELTS TRF is an essential document for anyone who has taken the IELTS exam and wants to prove their English language competency for academic or professional objectives.
When your results are released, the testing facility typically sends you one complimentary copy of your TRF.
You might be able to obtain more copies (on paper or in electronic format) for a certain fee.

In this section, we have provided the two methods through which a candidate can send their IELTS test report form-
The IELTS score record is electronically delivered to colleges or other organisations via the IELTS website or test centre. With this technique, your scores can be securely and quickly sent to the institutions of your choosing.
Most colleges now accept results online via the IELTS Results Service; however, it's a good idea to double-verify by contacting your preferred university if they accept this format.
If the university accepts electronic submissions, you can email your results quickly by following the procedures provided by the organisation. Typically, this entails tying your university application and IELTS test registration together.
The IELTS score report is physically sent to the specified colleges or institutions by mail or courier. Although this approach could take longer than electronic mode, it is nevertheless a dependable means of guaranteeing that colleges receive your test results.
You can get an official Test Report Form (TRF) or electronic Test Report Form (eTRF) from the IELTS test centre where you took the exam if the university does not accept electronic submissions or if you would rather send a paper copy.
After obtaining the official certificate, you may submit the IELTS score report straight to the university's admissions office by following their particular mailing instructions.
The Test Report Form (TRF) is the official record that includes your overall band score, which includes results for all the modules: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.
Upon getting your results, you typically receive one complimentary copy. When you register for the exam or at a later time for a specific cost, you can request additional paper TRFs. Use paper TRFs only when the university requests them.
Steps to send IELTS scores to universities with additional TRF:

Step 1 |
Visit the official website of IELTS. |
Step 2 |
Log in, and after that, choose “Add TRF” from the available options. |

Sending the TRF electronically to the institution straight from an IELTS testing location does not incur an additional cost. However, test-takers must pay an additional fee of around $3.75 (INR 320) for each university to which they choose to send their IELTS results in excess of five. The fee stays the same when the IELTS TRF is physically sent to particular colleges.
If the university is located in a foreign location, there is an extra $19 (INR 1582) fee for mailing the TRF hardcopy.
If a test taker wants to ask schools for more TRFs after the exam has been over for more than a month, they must fill out an application called Application for the issue of Additional TRFs. Every ATRF application that an applicant submits is subject to a fee.
An extra $3.75 (INR 320) is charged for physically shipping an ATRF to each university, and an additional $19 (INR 1582) is needed for colleges abroad.

Since skilled examiners translate the raw scores from each part into band scores, you are unable to determine your precise IELTS band score on your own. On the basis of how well you performed in each segment, you may estimate your band score.
Individual Scores
A 0 to 9 scale is used to score the four IELTS sections: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Examiners will issue a band score based on the number of accurate answers you submit; you will not receive a raw score. Additionally, half-band scores (6.5, 7.5) are available.
Overall Band Scores
The average of your results across the four sections is your total IELTS band score. To the closest full or half band, scores are rounded. Your total band score will be rounded up to 7.5, for example, if your average score is 7.25 across all parts.
Here are some of the resources that provide unofficial band score calculators-
