Candidates can pay the IELTS exam fees through various modes, including online payment, demand draft, or direct cash deposit at designated banks.
Online Payment - One of the most widely accepted and convenient methods is online payment via credit cards or Debit Cards. Major credit cards like Visa, MasterCard, and American Express are generally supported. In the same way, debit cards affiliated with international payment networks are typically suitable for IELTS exam fee transactions. Candidates need to provide their card details during the online registration process.
Bank Deposit - Test takers may have the option to make direct bank deposits to the designated bank account of the test centre. This method requires candidates to initiate the deposit and provide proof of payment during registration.
Demand Draft - Alternatively, candidates may choose to pay by "IDP EDUCATION INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED, Payable at New Delhi" and register for the IELTS. It is mandatory for candidates only to pay the demand draft from banks that the IDP has approved. The official website of IDP Education India has a list of authorised banks.
The IELTS Authority accepts all payment modes; however, most of the candidates select online mode as online payment is the most convenient and widely used method, ensuring a seamless registration process.
If a candidate needs to cancel their exam, a portion of the IELTS registration fees may be refunded. However, some cancellation fees may apply, and the refund amount depends on the timing of the cancellation.
