What was the change?

One can’t count blessings and positive changes in one’s life. Our life encompasses various highs and lows, yet I encountered consecutive setbacks. During this period of challenges, I truly found and understood myself.

 

When did you start the change?

During times of adversity in my life, as I navigated through significant challenges, I realised that I possess the strength to overcome such situations. I faced prolonged challenges consistently. However, there came a sudden period when I sought the light in my life and discovered a path to self-healing through dedicated meditation and spiritual practice.

Engaging in meditation unveiled diverse dimensions of life for me, akin to a newly forged path guided by Krishna. Undertaking it as a dedicated sadhana gave me a fresh perspective and set my life on a new course.

 

How did you learn about the change?

During that period, I found myself simply going along with the flow. However, upon receiving explicit guidance, I began delving into the teachings of the Geeta. After consistently adhering to this routine for some days, I experienced a renewed sense of positive energy in my aura and personal space.

In addition to specific activities, I immersed myself in spiritual podcasts and embraced art meditation. I was surprised and fascinated to discover that I can rapidly heal myself through simple and seemingly mundane activities.

 

Why do you think the change was positive?

Discovering that I have the power to heal myself without relying on others not only astonished me but also boosted my confidence and self-love. It opened a transformative journey of self-discovery and resilience, empowering me to navigate life's challenges with newfound strength and self-reliance.

What was the change?

Individuals undergo a transformation as they acquire new knowledge, evolving continuously. It's inherent in human nature to adapt upon recognising flaws and striving for improvement. Those resistant to change often endure hardship, missing out on opportunities as time swiftly passes.

Personally, I've embraced numerous changes in my life, prompted by a realisation that corrections were necessary for growth and progress.

 

When did you start the change?

Being the firstborn in my family, I received extra care and love, which, as I grew, inadvertently contributed to my developing a tendency towards irresponsibility and carelessness.

So, one day, my mom went out of town for a wedding,  leaving me on my own for the whole week. Clueless about basic stuff in cooking, I turned to YouTube, attempted a couple of recipes (failed miserably), and ended up with some seriously burnt and awful food. That disastrous meal was my wake-up call. I decided it was high time to learn some important household chores and cooking.

 

How did you learn about the change?

Initially, I began honing my cooking skills by learning from my nana, a fantastic kitchen teacher. As I gained confidence, I expanded my culinary journey by experimenting with recipes close to my heart, such as pasta and coffee. It was a major game-changer and the most positive change in my life.

 

Why do you think the change was positive?

I used to rely entirely on my mom to prepare my favourite dishes and manage my anytime cravings. Then, I took charge once I got a grip on cooking basics. Now, I am not only able to satisfy my food cravings but also cater to my siblings' cravings. It's like going from "Where's dinner, Mom?" to becoming the family's go-to chef. Learning to cook brought a sense of independence and the joy of treating my siblings and family members to some tasty surprises.

What was the change?

Life's a journey with different stops - childhood, teenage adventures, adulthood, and the golden old days. Every stage is a learning spree, bringing changes that shake things up.

Speaking of changes, I had to figure out my course picks. I'm a big fan of computers and tech, so I lined up some cool tech-related courses. I have a friend, and she is into both computers and psychology.

 

When did you start, and how did you learn about the change?

So, a few weeks into college, I jumped into the psychology scene with my buddy. However, I could not completely relate to it and found it boring. Hence, I thought of completing my bachelor’s degree by taking up a computer course, which turned out to be a game changer for me.

If I stuck with psychology, who knows if I'd ever be able to complete the bachelor's degree successfully? And my dream of being a programmer might've stayed a dream. But I made the switch, and now I'm rocking the computer course and living my dream.
